I think the owners have also had some dodgy advice over the years too, creating a 'perfect storm' of bad management. It's a pity. I can't comment on their financial situation but I can say with certainty that they're going to lose time; even if they rejigged the garden now they've probably lost two decades of time where trees and shrubs could have been grown more appropriately.
